doktordesigns says:The aquamarine were an Ebay find–just search for aquamarine nuggets. They were pricey, but worth it. You may recall I used them once before in a design I posted called “Cotillion Cool” — I had a few left over from the strand.

So often aquamarines get used in sort of formal pieces, probably due to the price. I like that these are kind of whimsical and “kicky”.
