girls just wanna have fun

About this design:

This was another case of finally finding something to do with stones I'd had in my collection forever. When I first received these freshwater pearls, I was disappointed because I was expecting gold and they were so orange!

We shot these upside down and right side up to show some of the detail in the wire wrapping: I had fun making little spiral caps for each of the pearls. Actually, I did it once by accident when trying to make a traditional wrapped loop but decided I liked the way it looked. :-)

The brown faceted stones were two orphans I bought from the clearance table at my local bead store--I think they are tiger's eye but could be mistaken.

Wow--that was a lot to say about one little pair of earrings!

Mango colored freshwater pearls, faceted tiger's eye (?).

These are luxurious and luscious. The pearls look golden to me, and I love the Tiger Eye. It looks like Red Tiger Eye, which I love, and the faceting adds another level of interest. Lovely. Into my faves!

These are really pretty, I love the cluster of pearls on top, and the extra wrapping you gave them! The faceted beads look like red tiger eye to me too, they’re beautiful! Did you attach the pearls to chain? I can never get clusters to come out this full looking.

No chain involved, I just made a large loop on the top of the tiger bead and attached about six wrapped pearls to it. I think it looks full because they are all crowded in and lying on top of one another. :)

Fav!! I love this design!!! :D The way you wrapped the pearls and then clustered them together makes this very visually interesting. It is something I would stop and look twice just to see better. ;)
