Studded Jasper

About this design:

Lately I've been putting crimp covers on the sides of stones that I wrap onto earrings. I kept going and going on these until I couldn't go any more. I love the studded look on these.

Components:

Antique silver crimp covers, faceted red jasper, chinese crystals, headpins, earwires and split rings.

Ohhhh – I LUV these!!! I have been thinking about using crimp covers between my beads, and you’ve done it on a ring/wire(?) and it looks great! But where do you buy your ox crimp covers? I have never seen it for sale!

Actually, I got the crimp covers from Firemountain, I have to drive an hour just to get to a Michaels so I end up ordering everything I need. Darn this small town Minnesota! I’m glad to hear they have them at Michaels though. I also have some in antique gold that match brass really well. The circle that the beads and covers are on are from Michaels, I think the brand is Bliss.

    Thanks for the comments!
