Debra, this is gorgeous!!! I love your addition of the heart — it is such a perfect color with the silver! :D Did you do yours on a dowel rod or on a spool? I learned to do my Viking knitting on a dowel rod.

Thank you, Lynn and Little Round Chick! I did it on a dowel. I did it in a class Saturday. I’ve already started on a necklace. It’s quite addictive!

thank you all so much! I had no idea there were so many comments! I’ve been sick and have not been on the computer much. In fact, I’m on now only because I need to stay up another hour to take a breathing treatment… So sorry to be so tardy with my thanks!

It really is very easy. I believe it’s a beginner technique…just LOOKS complicated. You can learn it in about 10 minutes. I had a handout since I took a class recently. However, I believe there are some excellent FREE tutorials.

Sorry to hear you have been sick. Hope you are feeling better soon. Thinking of you Miss Faith.
I think soon we will have to compile a congratulatory list and who hasn’t been feeling well. You all get better soon.

Debra, I’m sorry to hear you have been in the ranks of us “sickies” lately, too. :( So many of us have or have had bad colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. this Winter and have been on inhalers and needed breathing treatments of various types. Violet/Purple Chick currently has pneumonia — and she lives in California! I didn’t think that was allowed there…..LOL

Thank you so much for the best wishes, Faith and Lynn. Still at home, wheezing. It’s the cedar pollen count…it’s out of sight. Texas cedars (actually a type of juniper) need freezing temperatures to pollinate, and we’ve had a much colder than usual winter. Hoping to get back to work tomorrow.

Thank you, also, Claire, for the sweet comment.

Debra, so sorry to hear you’re still stuck at home, but I’m glad you’re not “sick sick” — if you understand. I’m sure you’re still plenty miserable. :( Are you able to bead? 8)

When I was in the doctors office recently she suggested an over the counter drug I think it was zertec, which ever it was the generic contains the ingredients Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10 mg antihistimine. All day allergy relief. Take only and no more than 1 in a 24 hour period. It helped to dry up my head junk, but I already take Advair Discus prescription to keep my chronic bronchitus in check. I am feeling much better with all that now. I hope you get to feeling better also.
