Un-named....
About this design:
I received the cabochon in a swap on a bead forum and I have no idea what it is.... Anyway, I beaded around it over 18months ago and then stalled because I didn't know what to do with it.
After rediscovering the Cellini Spiral (a variation on my beloved peyote stitch) I found these gorgeous matte avocado delicas and the bronze beads and they just called.
The task was then to combine the two ideas.
So here it is- the finished project :)

BTW, the cabochon is probably Peace “Jade” which is a very pastel stone of greens, pinkish lavender and cream/white. If it has deeper colors than the image here shows it might be Unakite which is a very deeply colored stone with olive green, salmon pink to rusty red, and white. So, my bet is on Peace ‘Jade.’ Check out these two stones here at LB and compare with your cab.
