Earthly Thoughts
About this design:
One of my co-workers asked if I could design a necklace for his Mom's birthday (Feb 13th). His only stipulations were the length and color, browns & greens, her favorite colors, otherwise he gave me free rein. This is my 1st ever commissioned piece!! He loves it, his sister loves it, now I'm waiting to here how his Mom likes it.

I was going to use some of LB’s Silver Creek Jasper at first, all lovely pale green-grays with striations of browns, but when I came upon that particular Antique Soocho Jade piece I KNEW it was perfect! The necklace came together very quickly after that, since I wanted to keep the whole thing on the simpler side because Zach (my co-worker) wanted something that his Mom could wear everyday with lots of different things.

CAS says:I saw my co-worker, Zach, today, and he said that his Mom LOVES the necklace. He said that she wore it on Saturday (her birthday), Sunday and was wearing it today. He said “she’s picking out outfits to go with it”, and that he “scored major points” that were worth “pans of lasagna” for his fridge.
