Botswana Agate for Mother-in-Law
About this design:
The center-piece is a Botswana Agate slab. It is sooooo beautiful i think. You can see its both sides on the close-up pictures. This necklace I designed and made for my mother-in-law. She really like blues, turquises and browns. When I found the agate I knew it was for her. I added fresh-water pearls which I luckily found in the perfect matching color, and I made kind of a band from them in right-angle-weave technique. And some copper elements to contrast and emphasize the bluish. I am very pleased with this one. And Margaret got it for christmas. She was very happy too.
