Rich, rich color. This is a beautiful piece of work, Lynn. Looks like a lot of work, too. I can’t wear purple cause my skin tone doesn’t work with it. But I’d sure wear this cuff purple and all. :)

You’ve been wanting to make it for ages, that’s how long it would have taken me to do it! I can’t even fathom how to begin something like this. And, being purple, just takes it over the top in my opinion. FAVE.

    Hey all :)

Thankyou so much for all that wonderful comments.

My apologies for not getting back in here earlier. My son broke 3 fingers and my dog tore his cruciate ligament, so life is way too hectic at the moment :(

It hasn’t taken that long to do LOL just a few hours :)

The chips don’t completely match up, but that is ok, because the base fabric is purple suede, so a little showing through is part of the charm.

It will be going into the local show tomorrow, so it can’t be bought anywhere just yet ;) LOL

  18. KittyMom Linda
    KittyMom Linda says:

Oh my goodness, was your son wrestling with the dog or was it two separate accidents? Hope everyone is doing better today. Can’t wait to see what everyone has to say at the show today. Keep us posted.

    Love!!!! the cuff!!!!

LRC – you can wear this bracelet – skin-tone only really matters w’ stuff near the face. Your wrist will look marvelous.

Hope everyone heals up soon. Everyone I know who tore a.c. ligaments did it skiing, which makes me wonder… does your dog ski????

  20. Lynn in Oz
    Lynn in Oz says:

LOL- no Jabari does not ski… we don’t know how he did it, but it wasn’t in the same incident as my son :)

My youngest son was playing with his big brother at school and the “big” boys kinda crumpled on top of my youngest and somehow in the mix he broke his fingers.

I dropped it off at the show today, but I won’t know anything until next Sunday :(

What a gorgeous bracelet, Lynn! Your work is just stunning and the color is fabulous! :D I’m sure it will sell quickly!

Sorry about your boys and their boo-boos! It will probably be harder to keep Jabari quiet than your son! Hope they both start to feel better soon! :)

    Lynn in Oz says:

The reason it didn’t get 1st is because my necklace did LOL They were both in the same category….. it is strange, Iknow, but we are a country town and sometimes thing are a little backwards LOL

    Vampire Chickie Ravin says:

Grats on 3rd AND 1st place Lynn! Hope your son and Jabari (great name by the way) are doing well. I know there isn’t much they can do with broken fingers except a cast up to the elbow at worst, splinting and taping them together at best, well, from my understanding at least. And Jeeze torn CL? Could he have gotten into a fight with another animal…erm wait, there’d be more than just a torn cl if that was the case, my bad. Might of been trying to get into, out of, or over something that was a bit much. Hmmm. Well, I hope all is well now and good energy goes out from my hubby and I to you and yours. :D
