Diamond and Pearls

About this design:

This piece was a challenge for me...I don't normally work with copper and I'm not especially fond of pearls...however, a friend challenged me and this is what I came up with. It only took 3 redo's :)
I have a show coming up in April and this is to be one of the sets I'll be showing.

Components:

Earrings copper beads fw green pearls, crystals, and copper earwires. Necklace rainbow jasper diamonds, fw green pearls, copper beads, crystal "gems", and copper toggle.

Super great – for someone working out of their comfort zone, this is perfect. I am particularly in a trance over those earrings. It’ll sell very quickly. Good luck with your show.

Oh, well I am very proud of you! It is hard to work with things not in our ‘Zone’ and you have done a fabulous job. Bet your Zoning Laws just expanded ;) Great Job!

I love this necklace; it has a very primal, earthy feel to it. I love the way you used the Biwa pearls, both to stand alone and to fill the window beads. Wonderful. Into my faves!

OM, Thank you ladies for the kind words…I was almost as nervous about posting this as I am about the upcoming show! ;)

KM Linda the earrings are what caused the necklace to be reworked 3 times…LOL couldn’t get it to POP like the earrings do…hmmm make a necklace of all earrings…wait…reality check…need more coffee!

Lorrie there are Laws now?…Knew I should have studied Government more!! ROTFL!

Linda T, I didn’t see the Primal until you mentioned it, Thank you maybe that can be this one’s marketing campaign….Primal Art survived creator’s urge to junk the whole thing!!! 8O

Karen B thank you, I felt like your cool cat trying to get milk out of a glass…me working with pearls and copper….who knew it was possible? :D

I was checking your cute doggie and designs and this is the only one I saw posted and long ago too. It is still a wonderful set. I love the copper pearls and the combo with the other stone. I think it is quite elegant. Where is some more?????
