Twisted Turquoise/Onyx Bangle

I have a little FujiFilm Finepix 12.0 mega pixel camera. It is really great. I am learning to use the photo edit package that came with our new computer a Gateway GM5472. There was a photo edit with both the camera and computer. One even allows me to take the picture and crop the image. Maybe both do I haven’t explored them that much. I sort of learn by poking around. Should read the books. LOL Just not me. Having fun with that today. Sun is shining it is a glorious day and my son Greg is getting married today at 3pm in Ohio and here I am in Florida. Just couldn’t be there. I am truely there in my heart and soul. Praying for both Greg and Kim that they have a blessed and wonderful happy marriage.

My left arm is smaller than my right arm. I can get it on my right but not very easily. Let me tell you after twisting those bangle wires they become quite stiff and do not move much. Before putting together I was able to adjust it enough that it is like frozen. That is why I don’t like a bangle bracelet. You need to squish your hand with your thumb as close to the heal of your hand as possible. First I cut about 24 inches of copper and brass wires. I twisted them together holding with a pair of tapped pliers so as not to scratch. Then I turned both ends back into the bracelet in a circle crossing over and determining about how much I would need in the end to close over my hand. after that I twisted the wires around and around the circle to make a double row if wires. The place the beads is wired on is the only single row of the original to begin the circle. It is all one piece length not cut. Then I twisted the ends. I was able to adjust as small as I could to get over my hand and by the time I did the wires no longer want to move anymore. Once you get a bangle on they float a lot on the wrist. If you are used to bracelets it may not bother you. I may get used to this one. I have never been a bracelet wearer; but, I am going to have to become one if I continue to make jewelry. ROTFLOL

The little silver wire to wire the beads on is fragile the center bead I put three strands through and wired each bead on seperately. I wound a lot of silver around the bracelet to keep the beads secure I hope.

Thank you everyone for the sweet comments. Harmony It is oval and slightly curved so it really sits better than most. My problem is I have skinny wrist/ankles the only skinny thing about me (thus the diet). Thanks for MIL congrats also. This is her first and his second. She has never married. Her parents are both deceased. I think she adopted me as a mom first not quite sure about that one. They knew each other in school and never dated each other like Ted and I. I think they called me six times from 9am until 3pm and they were getting married at 3:30pm. Of course as soon as they got home they called again. I’d say they are at least happy and excited today. Hope it stays that way.

Thank you EA Beth, Bubbly Lorrie and Dizzy Lori. It was fun to make it just sort of went together. I like it when something just works out. I could make another and it would probably be more uniformly made like you all’s so gorgeous things; but not right now I have so many beads I have got to start on them now. I cleaned house and we went to Orange Parke for dinner. I am going to have to go to bed soon I am getting a headache, but I had to check in. Missed everyone today

It’s probably just the diet crap plus I got upset at the Toyota dealership when we went to get the car tags they still had the 2010 Corolla registered to us and the loan fell through. We drove the thing almost 2 weeks before they let us know. So when we went to get the car tags for the 2009 Corolla we owned for 6 months they said it wasn’t registered to us. I had called them earlier to let them know no one had called us about our service key they lost while they had our car and we had theirs. Oh I was so upset to find out we were driving illegally all this time It has been a month or more now I know. I think diet pill and blood pressure is not a good thing.
I’ll be better I think I just need to go to bed.

I’m going to a Dr. who is in with my family Dr. She opened a diet office so she didn’t have to charge so much. If the headache stays with me or I feel worse tomorrow I will call her. I didn’t sleep well last night. Did too much house work for my back today and then had the mess with the car upset me. I told my husband I could not remember being that angry for a long time. Mostly I just go with the flow. If we had gotten stopped in a traffic check (they do them periodically around here) they are thorough. They would have cited us for driving with fiticious tags and we’d have had a big fine. The salesman wasn’t working there anymore either. What a mess. Oh well it will work out but I’m going to find out how to tell someone with Toyota how unhappy I am. (But I love our car, we just loved the more deluxe one for less money and lower payments more) Too funny when you think about it.

By the way I think this bracelet needs to be a re~do. LOL I just totally do. Sorry didn’t mean to submit that with pics 2 times.

First pic is where we discovered stove had to go elswhere other than where old burnertop was didn’t matter would have had to have new counter top anyhow. Found a peach of a new friend to help us when we put that booger in. Guys didn’t have fun squeezing it in between the corner and end cupboards.
