Goodwill Finds!

About this design:

I found these neat things at goodwill. I figure I can have 3 different themes and change them out each week. Since I will be doing the farmers market every week I know I will need to vary my display. I love the Asian theme and the ocean theme. I thought the 2 other things were cute but I'm not sure what else I could put with them

I like the Asian pieces and the shells they set your jewelry out, but don’t know about the mannequin figure it seem a little busy, maybe if you use less pieces on them , you can add hats and jewelry boxes as a display with them as a feminine theme.

    Very nice.

Where did you get the fan, in the Asian theme?

I was thinking the same things about the figures that is why I wondered what else to put with them

I got the fan at Micheal’s

Really nice and unusual display pieces. I agree that you should probably put fewer items on the two figures, but I love them, especially the spirals.

Jade, there is that shell again. I have tried about 12-15 different Wal-Mart – and everywhere in the store, thinking maybe they had them some other place – no luck. You really were lucky with that find! Love the Asian figures too. The old type forms are adorable – those I would save for extra special pieces, maybe only one or two on each. There is a farmer’s market about a mile from us but I know the clientele that go to that one and they are not out for any jewelry – or at least the stuff that costs more than 50 cents. This market really is a flea market and I don’t think my stuff would be profitable for me. Good luck. I can’t wait to hear how it goes for you.

Great displays Jade! (super cute jewelry too!!!!) I’d use the maniquin pieces to display jewelry sets (necklace, earrings, bracelet).

Well the one farmers market in my town would be like the one you are talking about Linda….cheap garage sale things and home grown veggies. The one farmers market in the town near by is very nice and a perfect place for beading gals like us. It will work out perfect because it is my day off and I won’t have to look for any weekend shows. My 11 year old daughter will be tagging along. I’d like to give her a cut of the profit since she will be my “partner” I just have to figure out how to work that out. Maybe if I give her a few buck each week that she can spend as she wishes. That way she can save week to week if she finds something she really wants. Any ideas?
