Black Tie Optional ~ Bolo Set
About this design:
This is a special occasion/evening jewelry set. I found the Black Spinel marquis briolettes on Etsy, and I HAD to have some!! The necklace is 16 inches long - plus a 4 inch, 2 strand Bolo focal design. It has a 3 inch length extender at the clasp end. The earrings are a glamorous 4 inches long.
Components:
Black Spinel faceted marquis briolette beads 12X16mm. 2.5mm patterened 14K Gold~Filled Chain. Swarovski Crystal 5mm "Simplicity" beads in Golden Shadow, 10mm FG Bali jump ring, 26 Gauge Gold Filled Half Hard wire. Gold Filled earwires.Additional Images:

Step 1: Warning: gemstone briolettes like these can be fragile! I chipped several by wrapping them too tight with wire. I recommend using 26 or even 28 gauge wire... Or fine gauge nylon coated beading cord - secured with crimp beads & crimp covers to prepare briolettes for hanging. |
