About this design:
Doing a one girl shindig tomorrow. I am a MESS. I have been SICK (like 2 rounds of antibiotics sick) and have a very croakity frog that has taken up residence in my throat. I feel SORELY unprepared. I would have posponed it, but that's really not an option at this point lol. I have a million and one pairs of earrings ready and I am struggling to find quick and FREE ways to display them. There will be no shortage of space, so that isn't a problem. I will have loads of room to spread all the displays you see crammed on the two tables. I will have some small white rocks to fill the brown basket, the large shell and the two big silver chargers. I am still on the hunt for some table coverings. I have some in mind, just gotta go beg them off my mama. See what I mean by EEEEEEEEEK??
I know it's hard to think about it when it's all smashed up, but will things be ok?? Think I will come off half cocked and not so professional? (not that I even PRETEND to be THAT, but you know what I mean lol) I will only get one chance to make a super first impression.

Mary S - Sweet Chick says:OK. Take a deep breath, relax, make the best of what you have. You will do fine!
I like what you have here. Looks casual and sporty with a bit of class!
Free and easy earring holders… Do you have Good Will, Salvation Army type stores near by?
Those wire CD racks make great, cheap earring displays. What about a wire plant stand? I have one that folds so I can take the wire shelf and “fold it” half way down and it holds a lot of earrings. (Hope that made sense) I’ll keep thinking. Best of luck to you!!! And good health too!!

KittyMom Linda says:Soft fuzzy paint rollers make a great way to put several bracelets on to display. They wont roll away because of the nap and they can come off easily, they store well, and you cant usually beat the price

Canadian chicky karen says:I think your display looks awesome, you have some really cool displays, fun and funky. Like the other ladies have said, take a deep breath and try and relax and I know that is easier said than done, but try and enjoy your show. Hopefully you will have someone to help you out. Very best of luck with your show, and I hope that you feel better!!!

Smile and deep breath have fun like everyone else said. Never even had 1 show I’m sure I would be a basket case. Hang in there. Hope you sell lots that’s what it is all about!

Boston Lady says:If you are going to keep up with the selling of your jewelry, try going onto Craig’s List and see if anyone has earring trees (maybe for free even), the tall kind or any size I guess, that the big stores have. You can always cover up the logos on them (if any) with some design of your own. This way, all your earrings are in one place freeing up space for other items on your table. Maybe they might even have necklace trees too in which case you can put your bracelets and whatever else on them. You’ll do fine. No one knows the quality of your work like you do. As the slogan says “…never let them see you sweat.” HA! Easier said than done but you’ll do fine. Don’t worry about your throat and not being professional. Any customer that thinks that way isn’t worth it anyway. Smile.

Chickie Nonnie T says:Everything looks great! You’ve really been original with what you have used. I would be careful though about getting too many different items for display together on one table. Maybe leaning towards one theme for each table. Like putting the natural themed display items you have – like the branches, moon, sun, rocks, basket and the natural wood cupboard/jewelry box together. Then maybe put the white glass/ silver chargers together. You could even stand one piece on its side if you have one of those little metal plate stands or something similar). Then maybe use some “s” hooks or opened paper clips to hang necklaces on it. It sounds like you’re going to have a great time, be sure to take some throat lozenges or hard candy.

Bead-itudes says:I think Chickie Noonie’s idea of themed tables is a good one. It would use your display’s in a way that would show your jewelry off to the best – rather than distract your eye from your pieces.
So sorry you have been feeling poorly. Hopefully the meds are beginning to work – and your on the mend. Good luck with your show. Just have a good time with it……

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Love your fun and extremely creative display! You’ll do great, deep breath. Don’t sweat the petty stuff, it’s much more fun to pet the sweaty stuff instead, lol
