Don’t think it’s mumbojumbo. I live in an area where stones and balancing chakra’s rule. I was told that if you wash your stones in salt water and then leave them in the sun, it not only purifies the stone but the stones gather more energy. I have made several pieces of jewelry for friends who are into stones and chakras.

Chippy Chick, I totally agree about the healing powers of crystals and stones! That is the main reason why I started creating jewelry for myself and others. Second reason was for fashion. lol

Chippy Chick, this is a gorgeous focal! And I am also a person who believes that crystals have healing powers. I work with crystals a lot and find that they can be useful. Like Vee said, that is the main reason for using crystals in my jewelry

I also believe in the healing ability of stones. Which of these stones help in weight loss or is it a different stone for each person?

Chippy Chick, I have often wondered, can you mix the ‘wrong’ stones together and get a negative response?
Many of us beaders mix stones in our pieces with only the design in mind and no thought to what the effect will be. What do you think?

I for one know that working with the gemstone beads is therapeutic. I’ve also joked that it is addictive. I don’t know about that, but I do know that I just love doing it.
