Making A Cuff...1,2,3!

About this design:

For everyone who wanted intructions...

Components:

Copper wire 12 gauge, 28 gauge, 20 gauge flat nose, round nose pliers & wire cutters, tape measure assorted stones

Additional Images:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

	Step 1: Tools
	Step 2: uncoil wire
	Step 3: Measure length. I measure about 8 inches. some of you w smaller wrists may measure 7 1/2 Remember will shorten once ends are coiled
	Step 4: use flat pliers to bend wire
	Step 5: allow 1 to 2 inches wire for bracelet end, and bend again.
	Step 6: cut wire
	Step 7: curl in ends w/ round nose pliers
	Step 8: looks like this
	Step 9: basic shape- I find a soda can is great for basic forming
	Step 10: continue to shape w/ fingers, using flat nose pliers as necessary
	Step 11: begin to add beads to 28 gauge wire- have fun! Remember to connect occassionally to strenghten weave
	Step 12: continue to add beads, adding wire as needed
	Step 13: Ta-Dah!!!!!!!

Also, I forgot to list stones- I used white prearls, Sodalite/Lapis mix, blue quartz, goldstone, & blue pearls.

I did manage to make Lu one of my copper wave bracelets Monday morning with the turquoise rounds I brought from. I felt bad for showing up empty handed. She loved it. On Tuesday she dug out her turq ring to wear with it.

Please add to this instructions : I should say that I often work with a number of pieces of the 28 gauge to help prevent sagging, and I sometimes ‘loop’ around the previous wire for stability!
