Eeka Mouse says:The white beads are Magnesite. How you can tell it from Howlite: Magnesite has brown veins, Howlite has gray veins (and the veining pattern is different too, but it’s hard to describe in words). I’m betting the ‘turquoise’ beads are dyed magnesite too, the vein pattern has that magnesite pattern & look to them. If you didn’t pay at least $100 for BIG turquoise beads like this, chances are they are not true turquoise…. but still lovely! and I adore the necklace, would wear it a lot if it was mine.
