Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Gorgeous set, Cheryl! You are right about that little bit of orange bringing this to life! What did you use for your focal bead?
On Jul 24, 2009 at 9:45 pm #
Bella Chick aka Chill says:That is LB’s Oregon Snakeskin Agate…I also used one on the Blue Impressions set…it varies fro grayish to cream to white with a scaly type pattern similar to a snakeskin…had to get over the mental anguish of a “snakeskin” on my neck, but found the stones quite interesting!

Chicky Chicky Blueroze says:This is very nice. The orange really makes it pop.
I understand what you mean about the snakeskin anguish. I just try to think of it more as Dragon skin. I can get my head around that a little bit easier.

Bella Chick aka Chill says:Snakes AND Dragons…I might not sleep tonight! Anybody have something else we can call this stone? I am getting squeamish!
On Jul 24, 2009 at 10:13 pm #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:What is there about the word “snake” or “snakeskin” that creeps us out so much? LOL It’s not as if the pendant is really made out of snakeskin, and yet….. LOL
It really is a beautiful pendant, Cheryl! I like it with the Blue Impression set, too.

Little Round Chick says:Gotta love orange…It glows like tiny points of fire among the soft neutral colors of the stones. If it were mine I’d want to keep it too. Absolutely gorgeous!
What’s with the snake skin problem Ladies? I had a LIVE snake in my class room one year and a tarantula, too. Can’t be squeamish if you are a Kindergarten Teacher. Just think of the Oregon Snake skin as having a lovely surface pattern and ignore the name. K? You Chickies are a great bunch!
