Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Wow, Love the ribbons! Very cute, eye catching colors! Maybe you can wrap the chains in tissue paper so that you dont get tangles? It seens to me id you lay a sheet of tissue out, and then fold around long necklace, then can you fold it in half or thirds & have it fit nicely in the box?
On Sep 06, 2010 at 10:19 pm #
Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:And of course, you could match the tissue!

Sonja says:I’ve thought about that and with the chain yes that will work but not with the Sterling because I don’t want kinks in it and everything I have that is not chain is strung on sterling. So still need help??

Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:will have to think about that a bit… get back to ya!

Little Round Chick says:Possible solution: Use a white box and tie it with black and pink ribbon together.
Also, have you Googled jewelry display items? There is one I’ve ordered from and I can’t remember the name but they have boxes in all sizes and colors and I do believe they carry both pink and black. I’ll get back to you on that.

Sonja says:Thank you I would love that also the color is a dark mocha brown I’ll post picks of my tags and cards underneath to show you the colors aganst something white…;)

Sonja says:This is the mocha box compared to tags and cards..

Vampire Chickie Ravin says:Very cool!

Little Round Chick says:Well, rats! The place I was thinking of doesn’t have quite the range of colors I thought they had. I did some checking on other sites and don’t remember seeing any size box in mocha. No go on pink either.
So, if all fails, back to solution #1…. Can you get the ribbon in your colors with no problems?
On Sep 06, 2010 at 11:52 pm #
Sonja says:Absolutely!!! That will work…also maybe with all of the creativity on this site someone will have an idea on how to build a box… I’ve thought of custom building them myself out of oak… but that would just add so much more expense to my items.

Sonja says:Thank you for looking for me!!!!

Skittles mommy says:What I have seen lately is white boxes with a label showing the logo & info on top. That way if your buyer’s keep their items in the box they will always have your contact info without it so obnoxious. Then, like LRC said you could use mocha & pink ribbon to accent.

Sonja says:Great thinking ladies!!! It’s these types of pieces I’m having trouble with…

Beana says:I’m in shock! Where is your signature color?!?!
No worries though, pink and brown go great together! I love that color combo…and I’m not just saying that…I really mean it
On Sep 07, 2010 at 8:59 am #
Mommykat Bubbly Chick says:Sonja, Some places sell colth bags…. smaller pieces could be wrapped circular, and not tangle. I saw some Huge boxes at my local Joanne’s (fabrics) yesterday… course they were white, but with LRC’s ribbon idea, might work?
On Sep 07, 2010 at 9:11 am #
Sonja says:Thanks again ladies!!!!

sunny chick says:Very nice! Good luck finding bigger boxes!
On Sep 07, 2010 at 8:44 pm #
Purple Chick aka Violet says:Hi Sonja,
I am not sure what size you are looking for, but I use boxes I found at
papermart.com they have some boxes that are 8 5/8 X 5 5/8 X 1 3/8
they work for me for the larger jewelry… I use purple , of course, but I checked and they do have them in pink and chocolate…. they have a wide variety of boxes and bags…. maybe this will help….

Sonja says:thank you!!!! I will check out that site!!!
On Sep 07, 2010 at 9:10 pm #
Purple Chick aka Violet says:Oh, and I forgot to say how much I like your cards, and tags, etc….
forming your “Brand” is so important… customers love that added touch, let’s them know you care about them and your product … great job !!!!

AllureofGemsGlamJulia says:Sonja, when I sell large sets (happened rarely…) I use cellophane clear bag and use colored tissue for the piece and also folded in the bag with the ends of tissue longer then the bag, then I tie the ribbons of my color choice and attach my logo card to the front of the bag and description card to the ribbon…
On Sep 09, 2010 at 9:44 am #
Sonja says:Fantastic idea Julia…Thank You!!! Then if it is one of my really pricey pieces I can custom make an oak box..excellent!!!
