    Sonja says:

I guess you could..what I found I’m embarrassed to say but with the other necklaces I made that were really long but not as long as this… I wanted them to be long on me..I was thinking of the bustier girl when I made this. You see I’m very short 5’3″ and 110llbs but the other chains were really short because of my chest. The mannequin was fitted for my mother when she was in high-school as my Grandmother was a professional seamstress. And she had no chest. lol So the length really is not very long on me, Its the length I had hoped all the others would be ;) I love realllllllly long….can you tell? I won’t make many as most women do not. But yes you’re exactly right it measures 56″

Super looking necklace. Could it be worn doubled or tripled around the neck?

  13. Sonja
    Sonja says:

I just tried it and yes it could definitely be worn doubled…not tripled though as the gems wouldn’t lay right.. Thank you everyone!

I like it long I am tall so I could wear it like that I’m like Mom though don’t have much up front!! My problem is I don’t go to much so I would have to wear it around the house like I do my pieces! I think it is nice to have the opera style come back or longer I think it is really in!!! Keep them comming! :) :)

I love this long necklace Sonja! You’ve opened my eyes to the posibilities of the pillow shaped beads. I usually avoid them because I have not clue what to due with them.
I’m sure there’s some in my stash.
