Bejeweled Puppy Bed..Grandpa Made
About this design:
Actually I designed the bed inspired by beds of royalty with wooden canopies. Grandpa decided he would build it for our puppy Coco le Bebe. She turned 1 yesterday...it's in the garage waiting for me to upholster. Its adorned with an iron cross with vintage filagree brooch.

He’s in the works of finishing a small bedroom into a beautiful room with a chandelier for my studio for my website so I am never going to ask him to build another thing until he’s so bored he asks me lol!!! I’m very spoiled! and so is the puppy

Sonja says:I know right I tried to talk him into making larger sleigh beds out of oak and he didn’t want to go such large scale…he could really do well…silly Grandpa he only wants to do things when he’s bored….I have him pretty busy right now lol..soon he’ll be begging for something to do again…all at 87yrs old unbelievable..

He stopped building furniture and started doing smaller wood pieces when he was in his mid 80s (he lived to be 101!).
I was the proud recipient of a beautiful drop-leaf table and some lovely wooden lamps. Looks like your grandpa is a lot like my own was. Thanks so much for sharing and bringing back some wonderful memories!
