Shannon aka Silly Chick says:Thanks so much Little Round Chick! Don’t know what happened to my description – it disappeared and I can’t go back to add one!?? I’d been wanting to do one of these for the longest – ALL the beautiful cuff designs that I’ve seen here were inspirational and this is an homage to each of them!
These are most of my favorite colors (anything southwest/Native American esp Navajo and Zuni)and Copper is my favorite metal – or is it silver….LOL
Components are: Yellow Jasper pendant (LB), African Turq teardrops (LB), Sponge Coral (most from LB) and Copper Artistic Wire (14g) and Copper wire (22g).

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Shannon, this is outstanding!!! What an absolutely gorgeous cuff you’ve created! I love the colors with the copper wire and the spirals at each end are a beautiful finishing touch!
Thanks for coming back and reposting your info!

Dizzy Chick Lori Z says:Beautiful, Silly Chick!!! I love the stones and shapes you used! And I really like the spirals at the ends!
I want to try one of these too, but the heaviest wire I have is 18 ga. Hope to get some heavier wire next week. I love Artistic Wire – very impressed with it’s quality, and so much more economical than silver! I wish I had someone local that sold it…

Shannon aka Silly Chick says:Thanks so much Little Chick and Dizzy Chick! I’m glad you like it – it was fun to make – not nearly as difficult as I had convinced myself it would be! The artistic wire is easy to work with – not so stiff you can’t form the cuff with your hands! The spirals aren’t too hard either (although I know mine aren’t perfect, I was surprised they came out as well as they did!) – they took a little more patience!
Lori, please give it a try – wigjig.com has 12, 14 and 16g wire – 25 ft for 13$ +/- and that’s more than enough for several bracelets and they have it in many diff colors, too!!

On Jul 30, 2009 at 1:43 pm #
Shannon aka Silly Chick says:Hi there Leigh and Fashion Chick!! I really appreciate the kind words!! Leigh, now that you know ‘all-thumbs’ here can do it, you shouldn’t feel intimidated any longer! I’ll bet you’d do a great job – after all, your other pieces are beautiful – no reason your wirework should be any different!
