About this design:
This past October, my husband took me on a surprise anniversary trip to Hong Kong. I came back with about 30 pounds of beads (!) including these faceted petrified opals. I was fortunate to be able to visit both the "Jade Market" (where most consumers go) and some of the wholesale distributors' show rooms in the gem dealer's district. It was sort of a dream come true...and it inspired me to get back to designing after a long hiatus.

I absolutely love this amazing design! It has a special depth to it with the faceted opals and the sponge coral. The brass is perfect with these colors!
