If it's January...
About this design:
it must be custom wire-wrapping time. January is generally a down time for me but now I get calls from gentlemen who saw my work at December shows and want either a birthday or Valentine's Day present. They have the cabochon and together we design the pendant. They love it and I have fun with stones I wouldn't otherwise have seen/handled.
Components:
White Petrified Wood (rare, Utah origin) in 14/20 gold-filled wire; agate with iron inclusions (Utah origin) in Argentium sterling wire.Additional Images:

Science Chick Runs Sibes says:Thanks, Ladies. It means a lot to hear your positive comments. Both pendants were delivered today. It was also awesome to see the stunned looks on the gentlemen’s faces. One pendant (the agate) received a literal double-take of positivity.
One thing I didn’t add in my description was that during the design process for the white petrified wood I kept thinking about Auel’s series (Clan of the Cave Bear, et al.) and the lore that the fetish of an Earth Goddess never had a face. I kept thinking that there was a phantom face in this stone–hence the manner in which the adornment was arranged.

When I told the gentleman about my thoughts of the faceless goddess, he responded with: “I can just see my wife drawing eyes and a mouth.” Then, we simultaneously said–”with something washable.” I think he may hide all the permanent markers. LOL
