About this design:

Thanks everyone for your comments on my Tangerine Dream. I'm waiting for some green seed beads that I just ordered from LB and I will rework it. In the meantime, I made this bracelet for a friend of mine's birthday.

Components:

Even my husband thinks these beads are amazing! He did want to know what you finish them with, varnish or clear acrylic spray paint or something else?

    Thanks, everyone!

Moonbell, I use Plaid Mod Podge to seal them (2 coats) and then I put 2 coats of a gloss varnish on top of that to give them the glossy finish.

KH, here are two web pages from the website where I learned how to make my beads. The first link shows you how to make coned shaped beads and the second link shows you how to make diamond shaped beads. Both links have YouTube videos that show you how to make the beads.

    http://paperbeads.org/diamond-shaped-paper-beads/

Also, I’ve attached a picture of the paper that I bought for these last beads. My cone shaped beads were 3/4″ x 12″ and my diamond beads were 1/2″ x 12″ (The paper is 12 x 12 with 54 sheets of two-sided paper that I got at Michaels).

    Good Luck!
