About this design:
I love turquoise. That is my favorite semi precious stone and the blue is my favorite color. I love to mix different kind of materials in my creations and I added a bow in combination with the small beads. Hope you enjoy this one.
Components:
Turquoise dyed Howlite and amber Zwarovski crystals.Read the comments (or add your own)

ChickyD aka Debra says:It’s lovely, Ivonne! I love the bow!

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Ivonne, this is lovely! Love your color combo and the bow is adorable! You could probably turn the bow to different positions for wearing the necklace depending on your mood and the neckline of your top.

Cotopaxi Chickie Sue says:simply wonderful, Ivonne! Love the offset bow – of course, I’m too clutzy to tie it so nicely! Great job!

Wemai Coffee Chick says:This is delicate!! I like the colors and the arrangement!

Starsparkle Spiral Chick says:Gorgeous colour combination

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:Sue, you could always ask Bob to tie it for you. ROTFLOL If he’s anything like MY Bob, fuggetaboudit!!! You’d be better off asking Bandit (your dog) or Misha (your cat) to do the honors.

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Wow! The design is fabulous! Love the bow!
And like Lynn said – so versatile, depending on what you’re wearing.

K H says:Lovely necklace. The bow is cute in the picture, but for those of us who worry about the practicality, how about a nice piece of gold or copper filigree? I store all my pieces in ziploc bags, so the ribbon would probably get smushed beyond recognition.
On Aug 07, 2009 at 8:37 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:The filigree would be a nice alternative to the bow — I know some women who aren’t “bow” people. Would it be possible to construct the necklace in such a way that it could be worn with the bow or with a piece of filigree, thereby giving the wearer more versatility?
On Aug 07, 2009 at 8:45 am #
K H says:If you had a standard closure at the back and then came down about 1/4 on one side and 3/4 on the other side and finished the ends with wire guardians, the you could add the filigree or bow with jump rings. It would take a pair of pliers to make the switch, but it is do-able.

Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Ivonne, I love the simplicity of your design and, of course, turquoise is always perfect!!
On Aug 07, 2009 at 9:02 am #
Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:What if, instead of jump rings, you used lobster clasps? Then you could just interchange them by “clipping” them off and on.

Happy Chick aka Harriet says:Great tip, Lynn! I love the piece and all the ideas about how to use with or without the bow. I like the flirty little bow, but ribbons get messed up and being able to change them out is a nice option.
Ivonne, I like the way you used your turquoise beads in a simple and clean presentation. Sometimes the beads are just this pretty.

Deborah says:Very pretty Ivonne. I like the beads in combination with the crystals and the bow.Very pretty!
