C Clark says:This is beautiful. I love Nomadic Notions but they are not in San Antonio anymore. I took a couple of classes and the ladies there were happy to show me techniques when I was shopping for beads. I do miss them.

@Bev: I’d love to. Email me through the garden and let me know what you’d like.
I’m working on another one right now in mauve-y, pink-y, pearls and crystals. I can hardly wait until it’s finished and I can wear it.
Lynn and Sue, I miss y’all, too. It’s so hectic at work! Seems they add more and more to our “to do” list each year. And we’re thankful to be working in the face of all the problems facing public education.
Well, back to work. Children will be at my door shortly…

ChickyD aka Debra says:Thank you all for your sweet comments!
I learned to make this in a class. There is a base of size 8 delicas (large cylinder beads) in square stitch. I work the base before adding the embellishment. I add the fun stuff to every other bead in each row. Come out of one cylinder bead, add 6 size 11 round beads, a focal bead (pearl, crystal, charm, whatever you like), add 6 more size 11 round seed beads and go back through the same cylinder bead.
I did a search a few minutes ago and saw a bracelet similar to mine called a catapillar (I obviously can’t spell it) bracelet. I think it had a tutorial with it. It is NOT hard. Laura calls it a Treasure Bracelet. I warn you….they are ADDICTIVE!
Hope this helps.
