Melissa S says:I’ve wanted to try crocheting out! I can do it with yarn but have never tried it with wire. Can you please tell me what gauge wire you used? I’m wondering what would be ‘too heavy’ and ‘too thin’. Thank you!
On Apr 20, 2011 at 5:05 pm #
Reet says:For the best result is better to use thinner wire (28 gauge). If wire thicker, it’s more difficult to “crochet” it. Thicker wire is not so flexible.

Atharee says:Very pretty necklace. Glad to see someone else does crochet with wire. I also use 26 and 24 guage wire depending on the size of the beeds. Have you tried brading them together?
