About this design:

I was working on another Viking Knit (yes, I'm hooked!), and while at my LBS I spied these puffed triangle serpentine beads - well, I knew exactly where I was going put them. OK, granted, I only used one....the others are a darker green, and I'm sure I'll find a home for them eventually....

Components:

26 ga brown wire, Serpentine, turquoise magnesite, flamed copper stardust beads

Thank you Lynn! You know, you got me hooked on the viking knit, when I saw your bracelets in the design gallery oh so many entries ago!

I’m working on a silver one right now – I find the wire is a lot stiffer than my colored wire. Did you find that to be the case as well? Or did I get the wrong kind of wire? It’s 26 ga….

Thanks, Violet! You know, I saw a video on viking knit – it looked fairly easy – you’ll just need a drawboard and a dowel, and you should be good to go! :D

Karen, are you SURE it’s really easy?! If this is anything like sewing, I’m not sure I’ll stick with it…… :| Anybody live in southern Indiana that would like to give me lessons? :-)
