Elaine aka Belly Chick says:Debra, the only way this was over for me was having a total hysterectomy because of a huge fibroid 1 1/2 years ago when I was 50. Before my surgery, there was no sign of it stopping or even slowing down. But, uugghh…what a way to hit menopause!

you all have my sympathies – whether you’re still dealing w/ irregular cycles, way too regular ones or even 4 times/year…mine has dwindled down to several times/year only, and now I don’t get the usual warning signs like I used to… belly chick, sorry to hear you had to have a hysterectomy for your monthly cycles to cease, not a good way to enter menopause! hopefully now your menopause is better?
last night I was also thinking during our chats about wanting chocolate during this time of month, I’ve seen a phrase somewhere about chocolates in a shop years ago: “Give me chocolate and no one gets hurt!”… made me think of our love for many beads: “give me beads and no one gets hurt”
