I have been reading Eloisa James, Julia Quinn, Day Taylor, Stephanie Laurens, Olivia Parker. I did look at the library book sale that I volunteer at for Carla Kelly but nothing yet. I’ll keep looking…there will be something eventually, as we get donations every week!

thanks much for letting me know what romance authors you’ve been reading! I’ve read a lot of Mary Balogh’s novels, not so much in more recent years. Georgette Heyer’s certainly still recognized as “the gold standard” after all these years by so many, not so easy w/ the more contemporary writing styles of these regency period romances! I haven’t read any of Georgette Heyer’s works in a long time partly due to grad school!
BTW, anyone checking for Carla Kelly’s novels – hers are super popular and most of what she has written are now in used copies, whew… so somewhat more difficult to find as used copies of her novels tend to be kinda pricy at times! However she is an author well worth tracking down! Her characters are all well drawn, even in short stories where words do count very dearly!
