Remember that not all women are comfident enough to wear jewery that may stand out bold and make a statement. they just rely on a plain string of pearls. If and when you see these women again,just think of them as a plain string of pearls. greet them kindly and move on with your creative self girl. You’ve got too much to offer the world.

   I tell you that those ladies were only speaking of THEIR preferences. I have a tendancy to make alot of feminine pieces so I have to make myself create some not so much…..these sell too….everybody has their own likes….if you are selling your pieces than you know what you are doing is giving people choices. FORGET THOSE RUDE WOMEN they should have made their comments out of your ear shot!

    I agree with so many of the Chickies Lorrie. Creativity is something that is inspired within and don’t let anyone take that from you–that is YOUR gift. Could be jealousy, could be just wanting to put someone else lower to make themselves feel good, gossiping, etc. We love you here in the Garden and this is our safe place. Your work is wonderful!     I might add that their use of the word “feminine” in such a narrow and judgmental sense gives me a bit of a giggle. Half the world’s population is feminine- are all 3+ billion of us supposed to like the same things? To me, those sort of rigid gender identity comments speak of insecurity.
