“whoo hoo, fixed my necklace!”

Description from J Yee smart chick: I just finished restringing one of my favorite lariat necklaces today, I've missed wearing it...the crimps gave way a couple of months ago... this one helps me feel grounded and inspired when I wear it, thanks to all the earthy jaspers and agates, leaf, flower, frog, turtle, sun, hearts in it...

    Aren’t repairs the the worst…
I have a beautiful 2 strand tourmeline necklace that I bought in Sedona AZ a few years back. one strand broke in Dec., finally restrung it 2 weeks ago, wore it once and the other strand broke. I credit that necklace for getting me back into beading! so i guess i should fix it.

    okay CAS, Anita, Sweet chick…

will scan the necklace today and see how the pic comes out! yeah, it’s one of my “comfort” necklaces and I finished restringing it yesterday afternoon at my favorite bead shop. They have a nice table in the shop with sets of beading tools including wire cutter, round nose and flat nose pliers etc that customers can come and use :)

    joyce

glad ya all like the photo, the necklace has wood beads that look like little logs, dyed mother of pearl beads (nugget and leaf shaped, plus one heart shape), fancy jasper, moss agate, crazy lace agate, freshwater pearls, swarovski’s, ocean jasper, copper and gold beads, and cloisonne beads and some seed beads :)

I’ve seen those little wooden “log” beads before, but I never imagined how really good they’d look in an actual necklace. As I said before … whoooo-oooooh!
