Description from J Yee smart chick: pasta of any kind is one of my favorite meals. tonight I sauteed some tri-color pasta corkscrew noodles with kale, mushrooms, italian tomatoes, lotsa garlic, turkey kielbasa sausage and cilantro :), I could eat pasta of some kind for most any meal, including breakfast! :)

CAS says:I adore pasta in all of it’s many shapes and kinds, unfortunately I don’t get to eat it as much as I like because my Dad dislikes it. Weird for someone of Italian descent I know, but he says he ate way too much of it growing up. He does absolutely love my Mom’s lasagne though. Your dinner sounds yummy-yummy Smart Chick! When I lived alone I used to make a pasta dish with plum tomatos, feta cheese and basil.

I can relate to your dad’s dislike of a food that folks of Italian heritage should like. although my family’s Chinese Amer., I don’t really care for bean sprouts and water chestnuts. I also dont cook rice w/ a rice cooker, just a plain ole pot!
