“yikes...snow in march!”

Description from J Yee smart chick: we have been having some unusual snow this week, on and off. I looked out the window of my classroom during late morning and saw some snow showers, followed by some sunbreaks. usually we're safe from snow from March onwards!

    Nicole and Anita,

thanks for your comments, glad you like this, I enjoyed the contrasts :)
Anita, you have my sympathies… I live in Seattle, and we DO NOT know how to cope with even a few inches of snow…:), we DO have lots of hilly streets here, but we’re also not prepared, so any time it snows even a bit, schools close and traffic’s awful…

You have some neat beads in this pick. One of these days Anita will convince me to splurge on the prasiolite. I’ve been wanting to check out labradorite too.

What do you teach? I teach 1st grade on Long Island. My district rarely closes. So then it takes twice as long to get to work.

    jeannes and Anita,

I am getting to like more subtle colored stones such as labradorite. the prasiolite looks gorgeous too, so translucent and pale green, yumm… as you can tell, I have fallen in love with the new chrysoprase beads that Lima has gotten, especially the beautiful leaf beads. I also really luv the new green fluorite teardrop beads too… so many beads, so little $$ and time :) !
