“Camelias Still Hanging In”

Description from Granny Nancy: I love having camelias. They start blooming and don't stop. I need to aad to the forest of pink as I know there are some that bloom during summer. The first are pinks in late Nov or early Dec. The buds look like little roses at first.

And there are still some azaleas that are also hanging in there as well. I planted another rose bush as the rose bush bed my husband created looked like one of the plants had died out.

Wouldn't it be neat to take a portion of this mix and create one of those very long necklaces that were popular at the turn of the century I think... or a bit later maybe... but with a variety of pinks and a hint of green. YUM!

Here’s a picture of a few remaining camelias. They’re so very pretty when they first open up. They look like roses.

I love pink flowers. There are some that are such a light shade of pink its hard to tell if they are white or pink. These were just so pretty and I knew they’d all be gone again for another year, I picked a small bunch and put them in water in a bud vase near my workbench and computer so I can look at them. Petals are falling off… snif.
