dolllady aka Pam says:Yep, when I was growing up we had a pretty pink taffy sucker that we could get for a nickel at our local pharmacy. That was a real after school treat. It was either that or a cherry coke from the fountain at one of the other 2 drugstores on Main Street. The spike candy drops remind me of some of my favorite hard Christmas candy. This is a gorgeous pick that takes one down memory lane.

MH says:We went to an old mom and pop store for the Turkish taffy and penny root beer barrels. Those striped kites do look like hard Christmas candy. Long,long ago. This is a fun pick. I sure sound old now!
