dolllady aka Pam says:It has been a weird rain pattern recently. It has all moved to areas 5-7 miles around us. Occasionally we got a few sprinkles. However, we did get a nice gentle rain. This pick matches how many of our days have been for several weeks. It shows some typical RGV fall days.

Phoenix says:The jewel drops really look like rain drops! And I don’t think I’ve ever noticed the storm cloud beads before. Very clever pick! We’ve been getting huge amounts of rain here also- our basement actually flooded for the first time in 20 years a few weeks ago when we had strong winds from the west driving the rain into/towards the house. Luckily we had an unopened shop vac in the garage that worked like a charm!!

I love when fresh mushrooms grow, I love to photograph them – they have so much character and other-worldly-ness about them!
