Jogi says:This is really a great pick! I haven’t tried the PH pieces but I do love to use copper and your mix with the copper is sweet! We have owls all around but I can sleep through anything! I grew up with owls that hung out near my bedroom window so I think I got used to them.

Crystal Canary says:Thank you all for your kind words. I found creating these picks can be rather soothing. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but it sure is fun. Kathryn, not sure what type of owls they were, but loved hearing them. At our last house years ago, we had a pair of Great Horned owls create a nest high in a large tree, and even had a baby. I’ve got a picture of all three perched a top–the baby was ‘fuzzy’. I will never forget that experience.

Granny Nancy says:I would never have considered a pick using the copper. I love owls and love copper. Anyway, your pick is lovely and congratulations on your POD. Its a shame that many of the lovely beads and the copper toggle clasp are not available. Its always a good time to beef up ones stash. That’s how I accumulated so much over the years. I’m sure many here would say the same thing. I ordered a feathered 5-6 white owl. Its adorable. Its coming from Canada so is taking a while.
