Description from Granny Nancy: Its been soooo hot and we can't go outside except the once a month dinner with my son. Big deal - a walk from the exit to his car. Anyway, I noticed a spot by the exit that has a gorgeous array of flowers. They're obviously watered a LOT because normally they'd be wilted and dying. But this is my dream to walk around the perimiter of this facility enjoying the flowers. But its just too hot. I can dream can't I!!!

Those indigo metallic english cuts are just as beautiful in person. The metallic finish creates the illusion of transparency. I had to hold them up to the Ott several times to make sure they were opaque. I hope to combine them with the GG Shibuichi raven, Ontario sodalite, coppered crystal and Greek metalized bronze components.

dolllady aka Pam says:Nancy, this still is gorgeous! I don’t believe the forecasters on more than a day by day basis any longer. They have forecasted big cooler temps so much in the past 2 weeks that may be a 2 or 3 degree break with no less humidity which doesn’t produce any cooler temps. I hope your forecasters are better. Your POD is well deserved.

Granny Nancy says:Thank you, thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments. I truly appreciate each and every one. Supposedly it will rain tomorrow and be in the 70s instead of 80s, so I’m looking forward to that. If its just a sprinkling and not hard rain, I’ll take Teddy out. He’ll enjoy it. He knows when we get back inside that he’ll see me get out a towel and give him a rubdown. He LOVES it.
We’re in an area where a lot of rain storms or even light rain will go around us. I hope not. I really want to get out. I had my hair cut short a few months ago and then got a trim a few weeks ago. So getting wet can’t hurt my hair. So if it truly is a pleasure to get wet and cooler tomorrow, I’ll come up with a picture of it with an appropriate pick. Have a good evening ya’ll.
