dolllady aka Pam says:I hear and understand what your weather has been like. We have been more down than up lately. Yesterday was in the low to mix 70′s. The next 2 will be in mid to low 60′s. Friday will be low 50′s. Your pick definitely does show the beauty of yesterday.

Nancy, so glad you & Teddy got out to enjoy some fresh air & a little sunlight with your friend. Mary, I think we were close to single digits in the morning then, too, but we go up & down. Will be almost 50 next week, although looks like we may get a foot & a half of snow tomorrow — at least it’s going to be the light, fluffy stuff. Looks like everyone South of us is going to be unusually cold, though, all the way to Florida only being in the 30′s. So look out, Nancy!

dolllady aka Pam says:Congrats on your refreshing sunny day POD, Nancy. We are having a warming trend. By Wednesday we are expecting 90°. I am still using heat today. Thursday will be 80° with a cold front moving through and a high on Friday of maybe 50° if we are lucky. no wonder the number requesting Covid tests are still so high. Some are cold while too many are still Covid.

This pick is a perfect description of a January Thaw that we used to enjoy growing up in Iowa. Up here in the Frozen Tundra we haven’t had one til today – in February. Our heat wave will climb to 40 degrees! Then, tomorrow we finally get a decent amount of snow, then the sub zero temps.
….so over winter.
