Description from JenJouterie: I have a lot of coneflowers in several colors in patches throughout my yard. In the fall the finches fight over the seed-heads. They gang up on larger birds to chase them off and then return to their own squabbles over the seeds.

JenJouterie says:Thank you all for your lovely comments. I received the stainless steel gold coneflower today. It’s quite beefy. I’ll try to create something close to this pick. It’ll mean a raid on other projects for the beads.
Everyone needs a hobby, mine is constantly rearranging my bead selections for projects.
I would like to spread some coneflower seeds in another area. I’ll have to do it at night, otherwise I’ll get an angry cheeping out and my car splattered.

They were out this morning at my 3 feeders squabbling over 1 of the 3 feeders outside the garden room windows. I can go Wal-Mart to get a bottle of nectar for them. They dove down and flew around me chattering away.
