“Fall Temperatures...Ahhh”

Description from Granny Nancy: I didn't get outside today but I know it will be wonderful to walk outside and be able to breathe. The humidity has been horrible. Thank you Lord for this weather. And my asthma thanks you.

Nancy, it is so good to see you present again! I can sympathize with how you are feeling. We are still having highs in the hundreds and humidity in the upper 70% range. Your pick is gorgeous! I haven’t seen the horizontal tiger she before.

Beautiful fall pick, Nancy! Glad to see you back! The drier fall air is definitely welcome. I don’t have a breathing/lung condition, but I’m not in very good shape anymore & trying to do anything in the humidity wipes me out in no time. I can only imagine what it’s like for one with asthma or COPD. I’m enjoying the cooler mornings, too, having to put on a light jacket when I leave for work on office days, and even wear one downstairs to start the morning at the computer on remote days. Alas, I will lament when the light jacket becomes the heavy coat, but these days now are perfection. Pam, I know it’s still hot down where you are now, but you’ll probably be happy in your light jacket when I’m up shivering in my heavy coat.

I’m with you–Ahhh… for the falling temperatures. I enjoy the metal elements in your pick along with all those gorgeous leaves. I can only imagine how hard it must be to live with asthma–I’m glad you’re finding a bit of relief. One brush with falling oxygen levels that landed me in the hospital was the scariest experience I had ever had. To be breathing & not uptaking the oxygen taught me just how hard it can be for those who have to live with these conditions. While humidity is great for the skin–it surely can be hard on the lungs.

Congrats on your awesome autumnal POD, Nancy! Ditto what Deb said. Not a fan of heat or humidity at all myself. Love the relief of the cool, dry fall weather. Beautiful pick for the fall colors starting to come out where we are in RI.
