Edith U says:From one Granny to another: I am always impressed and sometimes amazed at your picks. You have such a refined color sense that even with beads, etc. with colors that often clash, your choices never seem to clash. I will never forget your purple and green pick (“Favorites”). Green is a favorite color for me, but purple is not. You convinced me that green and purple together is a winning combination, and that many examples of purple are fine indeed. This is another great example, with the addition of blues even. It is cooling as well. Edith

Granny Nancy says:Golly, thank you both. I was a secretary and when bored with that I got involved with writing and editing. I was paid well but I still shopped the sales to find what I wanted. I wore mostly pant suits as I got older. I had back issues and couldn’t wear my spike heals anymore so I went to wearing only pant suits. That was a challenge at times given my color preferences.

Ok, I am so curious to know where in NY you moved from and where you landed in NC. I’m on Oak Island, one of the barrier islands south of Wilmington, NC.
