“Garden Party”

Description from ClovisakaLois: Ricky Nelson wrote and sang "Garden Party"...same name as the Zola Element acetate drops and links I used.
My idea would be to wire wrap beads and connect them to the acetate links, here & there. The round acetate drops can be made into earrings and the stick drops could be used on the necklace front, hanging several using the gold figure 8 connectors. The closure would be the gold apple blossom button and wire wrapped loop.
But if you don't like that idea, there's plenty of beads to make a lariat and hang a couple of the acetate sticks off the ends. As the song goes,
"Well, it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself".

Nice colors for a garden party, and the challenging garden party acetate. One might even need to get a few of the individual acetate pieces, then find beads to match, but I’d want the AB luster opalite, ruby quartz and Czech glass luster opaque green in the mix anyway. I like your design ideas! It may be worth making your own figure 8 bail links to hang the stick drops. Can match diameters needed for motion of stick without too much extra space around the necklace stringing wire. The wire can match in with the wire-wrapped bead wire.
And I can’t recall the song, but that’s a great quote. True enough. Well, your pick has pleased me, too, and given me some excellent ideas! Love the metal flowers in this, too. Thanks, Lois!

Thanks! When I was looking at the acetate pieces, the name just started me humming the song by the same name. Of course, you’re so right about getting the acetate pieces to see what colors actually pop out when you hold them in your hand. I zoomed way in, trying to get an idea of colors to use…lol! Thanks for the color tips!
