EPBCornell says:Green has long been a favorite color — who knew it could have such pain-relieving benefits? Any treatment without side effects is worth investigating! And your pick is certainly soothing on the eyes! You have chosen what seems a most healing shade of green. Thank you for the new insight, Nancy! I take an anti-seizure med for tremor of my head and hands that has limited, but not eliminated, my instances of migraine. My boss gets them more frequently. We should find out if green light really helps. And I have a number of other friends who also cope with chronic pain. We all will want to learn how to find ways to introduce green therapy if it may ease the pain. Keep us posted if you discover what works for you!

dolllady aka Pam says:Nancy, what a beautiful pick! I hope the green works. You may want to place some green cellophane around lampshades. I had attended a workshop that said blue or green in alternating covers on fluorescent lights help to relax people. It helps to decrease seizures, lengthen attention spans in hyperactive and dyslexic children. It really did help my dyslexic students. This does look like a future POD!

Kathryn R says:Nancy, thank you for the info about my favorite color. I wonder if wearing glasses shaded in a soothing green might help. Or putting green stained glass panels in windows….hmmm. Certainly making something beautiful out of your lovely pick – looking at the soothing green – would bring some relief. Hope it’s a POD. Pam, thank you for your info about flourescent lights. They always bothered me at work. Now I’m retired so don’t have to deal with them.
