A plume agate is a variety of agate with fluffy, “plume”-like inclusions. Sometimes, plume agate inclusions resemble feathers, plants, or flowers. Our Idaho Plume Agate (also known as “Regency Rose” agate) contains wonderful cream, gold, and rust colored plumes that float in transparent to cloudy, semi-transparent quartz.
