It has for me all the allure and beauty of those warmer March days when everything thaws and softens and saturates, exciting me with the anticipation of spring. No, those new chartreuse greens aren’t popping out, dappling the landscape yet, but you can sense it coming in the scent of warming, wet earth. EPBCornell says:Congrats on your gorgeous awaiting-spring POD, Julie! It has just about arrived here by now in RI– at last! At least some of the trees have started to bloom, daffodils & forsythia are in full bloom, and the underbrush at the roadsides has the slightest green haze of the tiniest new leaves. It will be greening up good any day now. I imagine things have taken off by now wherever you are, too. If not, give it a week or two. Still love this pick & have it in my favorites!
