Phoenix, I’m so glad you *felt* the need to compose this warm and cozy pick! It’s like putting on a soft warm sweater on a chilly morning for the 1st time since last March. Made this a fave.We had our first big wintry storm over a week ago, with lingering frigid cloudy weather. Next week we hope to get to “normal” temps for October (although it will be November).

I agree on all above. Plus love the fuzzy-wuzzies instead of all beads. That is so cool. Congratulations in making something that you like.

I remember at !east one Iowa Halloween having to wear a heavy parka under a sheet as a ghost as a last minute change because of a cold front with a cold drizzle. I like your pick better than that night for sure! Congrats on it becoming a charming POD!

I knew this would be a POD, Phoenix! Congratulations! It’s funny you picked this on Halloween. Pam, I remember In 1992 on Halloween afternoon, it started to snow, then by trick-or-treat time, became an all-out blizzard. My 8 year old daughter was eager to wear her “authentic” Hula Girl costume her Hawaiian cousins gave her; which was fine for the indoor school party. But, later, the heavy snowfall would NOT stop this Hula Girl trick-or-treating with her friends! So I made her wear 3 layered turtlenecks under her coconut bikini top, 3 layered pairs of tights under her real green grass skirt, *moon boots*, mittens and a warm ski headband that seemed to match nicely. Then her silk leis on wrist, around her neck and over the headband. She came home drenched, green dye running down her tights, but a very happy Minnesota Hula Girl with her treat bag full! (And no frostbite or pneumonia the days after)
