“Nature all Around Us”

Description from ClovisakaLois: These are 4 artist's pendants of plants or animals that I like. I tried to select colors and textures of beads that would bring out those of each pendant.

Sue, you did a wonderful job of matching beads to the pendants! Each necklace looks very wearable as you have planned them.

Nice array of choices! I love the muted colors, they are truly natural1`
But tell me, how do you deal with bellflower beads? I don’t seem to be able to use them except in a stack as they come; can’t get creative with them, have to just use as a color accent. Any suggestions?
    Thank you!

With a bellflower you can make a cute dangle. Use a headpin, string on one seed bead of a contrasting color, string the bellflower face down on the seed, then attach the dangle. I’ve used these between beads of a necklace or bracelet. You can use either a single or wrapped loop to attach it to the stringing material. But there’s nothing wrong with using them as a color accent. Also a stack of them provides a textural contrast.
Lois, I love these choices! Each set can yield wonderful pieces. A fave along with your other recent sets!

Thanks for sharing such positive feed-back! I think Sue did an excellent job describing how to use bellflowers. I thought the 3mm bronze Czech glass would be pretty in between a couple of the bellflowers, alternated with the green; however what I envision will sometimes change when the design is on the drawing board, so to speak.
