“Night at the Ball”

Description from Karokat: There are hundreds of versions of the Cinderella story from many cultures, going back as far as the ancient Greeks, where the missing footwear was a sandal (probably made of goatskin). In the more recent versions, the missing slipper is either glass or gold - definitely easier to incorporate into a fairytale necklace!

This is gorgeous!! My favorite version was the made for TV movie with Leslie Anne Warren as Cinderella. It played in Spring every year until the license to show it ended. I always wished they would bring it back!

Thanks for the comments. Yes, Puppychick, that’s my favorite version with real people (and of course my favorite animated version is the Disney movie). I used to look forward to watching it when I was little. They really should bring it back!

Thanks, Gina – I’m glad you can still get that TV movie of Cinderella. Good grief – I forgot that the guy who played the Prince (Stuart Damon) was on General Hospital for over 30 years. Now I feel really old!
